Disappointed - location services changed

Not impressed that location services is always on now, regardless of whether the app is in use or inactive (and 100% closed) I rebooted my phone thinking there was a glitch but the location services kicked back on as soon as the reboot was complete, and the app wasnt open.

I really love this app for tracking my walks/cycling trips but the location services took this app from being 5* to 1* as I will have to manually turn the location services on and off for each use. PLEASE update this to only have the location services working when the app is in use/updating in the background INTENTIONALLY.
